Sewer Scope

A sewer scope inspection involves running a camera into the sewer line from the house to the city line.  The line from the house to the city line is call the sewer lateral.   The home owner is responsible for any damage and repairs to the sewer lateral.  That includes the section that is under the street.  The inspector will be looking for potential issues displayed in the graphic below.  A video of the scope is provided in the report along with still photos and an explanation of any potential concerns.
